The Samsung Galaxy S joins the list of phones due to get an update to Android 2.2, aka Froyo, later this year.
The Android phone, previously called the I9000, will be Samsung’s flagship Android phone – it has a four inch screen Super AMOLED screen and HD video recording.

The super smartphone, aka the Samsung I9000, will be released in Asia June 4 and is expected to be rolled out in Europe in June.

The Android-powered Dell Streak with its five inch touchscreen is to be launched exclusively on O2.
